ABBY CALDWELL, River - Sophomore blur won the OVAC title in the 300-meter low hurdles at the OVAC Championship.
BRIAN STYLES, JACK FITCH, HUNTER HILL, ANDREW WATTS, Martins Ferry - Riders' speed foursome teamed for victories in both the 4x1 and 4x2 relays and finished second in the 4x4.
HANNAH ABSALOM, St. John Central. The Irish senior had quite a week as she struck out 54 batters in four games. She fired a perfect game versus Beallsville in D-IV sectional action in which she drove in eight runs with two doubles and a grand slam. She only walked two batters.
SHAYE DeLEONARDIS, Martins Ferry. A sophomore, she won three games inside the circle, including a two-hit shutout of Bridgeport.
MORGAN STALDER, Martins Ferry. A senior leader, she had a single and home run against St. Clairsville, and also singled twice in a loss to Indian Creek.
BROOKLYN MONROE, Martins Ferry. A junior outfielder, she hit her first career home run, singled and doubled to drive in four runs as the Purple Riders defeated Bellaire.
MIRANDA BOWERS, Bridgeport. Just a freshman, she fired a one-hitter against Martins Ferry, but lost 1-0. She also twirled a two-hitter against Toronto. At the plate, she collected four singles a pair of doubles and five RBI.
CAITLYN KROLL, Bridgeport. A sophomore catcher, she had four singles, two doubles, a triple and two runs batted in.
IVY STARCHER, Buckeye Local. A senior, she moved closer to the school's all-time strikeout mark with 11 against Shadyside in a 2-0 victory. She only gave up three hits.
SARAH DIERKES, Shadyside. This junior slugged a two-run walk-off homer against Buckeye Local in their first meeting.
DEVIN EARLIWINE, Union Local. A freshman, she collected three singles and a double in a game against Barnesville.
KAYLA LOGSTON, Monroe Central. She threw a no-hitter at Beallsville.
ERIN MILLER, Monroe Central. She slugged a three-run homer against Frontier.
GABBY GOUDY, River. A senior, she tossed a no-hitter against Beallsville in which she wiffed 11 . She also one-hit Frontier in sectional tournament action while fanning a dozen and allowing just one hit.
GIOVANNI ROCCHI, Harrison Central: Rocchi fired a no-hitter against St. Clairsville, striking out four and walking two as the Huskies won, 4-0.
TRISTAN BRUCE, Union Local: Bruce belted two doubles and plated three runs in the Jets' victory against Barnesville.
NICK STATEN, Harrison Central: Stane drilled a double and knocked in two runs in Harrison Central's victory against St. Clairsville.
MATT DUNFEE, Union Local: Dunfee had two dingles, a double and two RBI vs. Barnsville.
DAVID BROWN, Barnesville: The Shamrocks catcher slapped two doubles and drove in a run against Union Local.
QUINN MYERS, St. John: Myers fanned nine in tossing a three-hitter for the Irish against Jefferson County Christian. He aided his own cause with a single and two RBI.
ETHAN GROVES, Monroe Central: Groves homered, singled and had two RBI against Frontier. The next day, against River, he twirled a one-hitter, striking out eight and walking one.
MALIK FORD, St. John: Ford had two two doubles, scored three runs and stole thre ebases as the Irish topped Hundred.
DEVIN JACKSON, Monroe Central: Jackson homered, singled and plated four runs in the Noles' victory against River. Later in the week, he slapped three singles and drove in a run vs. Buckeye Trail.
EVAN BLACKSTONE, Monroe Central: Three singles and two RBI was the line for Blackstone against River.
JARED KEISER, St. John: Keiser collected two doubles, three runs and three stolen bases against Hundred.
JONANTHON BORKOSKI and JOSH FIGURSKI, Buckeye Local: The Panthers duo both belted grand slams as Buckeye Local drubbed Bridgeport at The Niekro Diamond.
HUNTER WESTLAKE, Bellaire: Westlake tripled and plated two runs in the Bigs Reds' contest against Steubenville.
ERIC WILLIAMS, Buckeye Local: Williams went 4-for-5 with three doubles and two RBI against Bridgeport.
ERIC BANAL, Buckeye Local: Banal doubled, singled and drove in three runs against Bridgeport, before belting a grand slam later in the week against Shadyside.
BRENDON ROSS, Bellaire: Ross had two singles and two RBI against Steubenville.
ROBERT VARGO, Martins Ferry: Vargo doubled and plated two runs in Ferry's victory at Bridgeport.
ETHAN BAIRE, Martins Ferry: Baire doubled and had two RBI, including the game-winner, in the xtra-inning victory against the Bulldogs.
JEREMY PLANTS, Martins Ferry: Plants had two singles and two RBI against Bridgeport.
CARLOS KUSIC, Bridgeport: Kusic laced three singles and knocked in three runs against Martins Ferry.
TYLAR RAMSAY, Bellaire: Ramsay belted a grand slam and finished with five RBI in the Big Reds' second victory of the season against Steubenville Catholic.
TANNER BURKHART, Monroe Central: Burkhart slapped two singles and a double, while driving in two, as the Seminoles topped Buckeye Trail.
BILL JOHNSON, Shadyside: Johnson doubled and plated three runs against Harrison Central.
PETER FRONTZ, Monroe Central: Frontz finished with two singles, a double and four RBI in his team's triumph against the Warriors.
CHASE HOPKINS, Buckeye Local: From his leadoff spot, Hopkins came up a homer short of the cycle and knocked in two runs against Shadyside.
BRAD PRITCHETT, Bridgeport: Pritchett had a double, two singles and three RBI vs. Bishop Donahue.
AUSTON HANNAHS, Barnesville: Hannahs collected three singles and two RBI against Shenandoah.
