IT WAS raining inside through the ceiling in a corner of the law library in the courthouse facing South Main Street. County Auditor, Patrick Moore, whose office was located on the first floor just below the library. The water leaked through the floor of the library and through the ceiling of his office requiring a terminal to his office computer to be moved. The water damaged the ceiling in both the library and auditor's office. After much investigation they discovered the leak was caused by pigeon droppings clogging up the gutter and possibly a downspout and thereby forcing the water under the eaves of the roof.
