DISPLAYING A stylish hat — from the past — is Rosie Thomas, secretary of the Martins Ferry Area Historical Society. Most of the clothing in the Sedgwick House Museum had been owned by Grace Sedgwick Mitchell, who sold house, constructed about 1870, to the Martins Ferry Area Historical Society for use as a museum. More information about improvements at the museum, located at 627 Hanover St. in Martins Ferry, and about the historical society’s plans for the future is on Page C1. Also included are more photographs.
