CADIZ - It took the Big School offense a few innings to shake off some of the rust since the majority of the players hadn't swung a bat in more than a week.
When they settled in at the plate, the small school squad could do little to slow down to the bigs during the Kyle Rose EOBL All-Star Game held Monday afternoon at Mazeroski Field.
The big-school unit pounded out 10 hits and posted a 13-3 victory in six innings.

All-Star Classic at Mazeroski Field in Cadiz.
The Big Schools nursed a 2-1 lead despite not having a hit into the fourth inning when they broke out a bit.
They strung together four consecutive hits, including a RBI double by Buckeye Local's Chase Hopkins and a two-run single from Martins Ferry's Marcus Sutton, which blew the game open.
The small schools, however, added a single run in both the fifth and sixth to make it a 5-3 game.
Linsly's Jameson Murray, who was saddled with the pitching loss, delivered a RBI double and the run in the sixth was an unearned tally when Bridgeport's Colt Charlton, who was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, raced home on an error.
The Big Schools saw to it that the Small Schools would get no closer in the bottom of the sixth when they struck for eight runs to end the game.
Harrison Central's Brennan Graves, who worked the first three innings on the mound and was credited with the win, stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and rifled a shot into left.
The ball was misplayed by the outfielder and rolled to the fence, clearing the bases before Graves touched them all for a two-run single and a three-base error.
Harrison Central's Nick Staten had a RBI single later in the frame and Martins Ferry's Robert Vargo ended the game with a triple that brought in the final two runs.
Also during the sixth inning, St. Clairsville's Lewis Mitchell had a RBI single. He had two hits in the game.
The represenatives of Bellaire were on hand and recognized, but didn't take part because of the Division III regional tournament slated for Thursday.
All of the EOBL All-Star selections were recognized and received a t-shirt, but only the seniors were permitted to play in the game.
The Big School coaching staff included St. Clairsville's Tom Sliva, Harrison Central's Mike Valesko and Martins Ferry's Anthony Reasbeck. The Small School staff was comprised of Linsly's Jay Cartwright and Barnesville's D.J. Butler.
