Pictured are the volunteers of the Bellaire clean-up effort. The clean-up was hosted by the Bellaire Citizens in Action Group. The high school football team and cross country team, as well as citizens, turned out to help. Clean-up will last from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone who wants to volunteer can show up at the gazebo in Bellaire Park on Saturday to help. Councilman Jim Williams stated that it was probably the largest clean up effort ever without the help of JB Green Team. The volunteers collected at least 45 bags of trash off the streets. Village officials wish to thank Bellaire Football team, Bellaire Cross Country Team, their coaches, the citizens who participated, Kroger for donating bottled water, and Carol Williams for driving around and handing out the water.
