The Times Leader is proud to publish its inaugural "Farms and Barns of the Ohio Valley" - a glossy-cover tab that will make its debut in Wednesday's edition of the daily paper.
This tab highlights and celebrates local family farms and barns that have been around for 50 years or more. This tab features family farms and barns from Monroe, Noble, Guernsey, Belmont, Jefferson and Harrison counties.
Within these pages, you will find a myriad of high-quality, full-color images to highlight the beauty of these local historical locations. Also, stories accompany several of the local farms and barns highlighted in the tab, allowing an outlet for the families to tell their own personal history of their land and what they have accomplished over the generations of farming.
Pictured is one of the examples of the barns that can be found inside the “Farms and Barns of the Ohio Valley” that will come out in Wednesday’s edition.

Next year, The Times Leader will again publish a tab featuring local farms and barns. So, if you and your family missed the opportunity this time around, there will be another chance to tell the story about your land and all that it contains.
The Times Leader wishes to give a very special thank you to all the owners of these magnificent farms and barns and their families who volunteered to be featured in this publication and for allowing us the time to visit and photograph these local historic structures.
