IMMUNIZATION CLINIC Wednesdays, July 9, 16, 23, 30 from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. All regular childhood and back-to-school immunizations, including childhood seasonal flu vaccinations. Appointments are encouraged, but not necessary, call (304) 234-3682.
PPD (TB) SKIN TESTING CLINIC Mondays, July 7, 14, 21, 28 from 9:00-11:00am and 1-3 p.m. PPD skin testing for exposure to TB. Appointments are not necessary.
FAMILY PLANNING CLINIC Tuesdays, July 8, 15, 22, 29. Consists of a complete gynecological exam including pap smear, pelvic exam, and breast exam. Several contraceptive methods available. Appointments are necessary, call (304) 234-3682.
PREGNANCY TESTING CLINIC Fridays, July 11, 18, 25. Testing is at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING CLINIC Mondays, July 7, 14, 21, 28 from 9 a.m. 4 p.m. Walk-ins are welcomed, appointments are not necessary.
FOOD HANDLERS TRAINING Monday July 14 at 10:30 a.m; Tuesday, July 15 at 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday July 16 at 4 p.m. (Oglebay) and Thursday, July 17 at 10:30 a.m. This class is for those working with foods. PERSON IN CHARGE (PIC) TRAINING Monday, Aug. 22 at 9 am. PIC training is for designed person in charge, managers, owners and operators of restaurants and other facilities in Ohio County. Call (304) 234-3682 for more information.
TUBERCULOSIS DIAGNOSTIC CLINIC Call for an appointment. The TB Clinic provides x-rays for the evaluation of active disease and latent TB infection (LTBI). Clinicians are provided for chest diagnostic clinics to evaluate/treat active disease and LTBI. Medications are also available for TB cases and LTBI patients. TRAVEL VACCINATION CLINIC Travel immunizations for foreign travel available by appointment through the travel clinic. Charges for immunizations vary and are subject to change. The Travel Vaccination Clinic is by appointment and many vaccination series take several weeks to complete for full efficacy. Call 4-6 weeks prior to your trip to make an appointment with the Travel Clinic. The following vaccines are commonly recommended for travelers to certain areas: Tetanus/Diphtheria (Td), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (Tdap), Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Meningococcal, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR), Japanese Encephalitis and Polio. ADULT IMMUNIZATION CLINIC Immunization Clinic for adults who are in need of immunizations. Although most adult vaccines are ordered per individual, we stock vaccines throughout the year. Any adult can be seen in the adult vaccination clinic. Insurance and Medicaid are not accepted (except flu vaccination), Charges for immunizations vary and are subject to change. The following vaccines are available: Tetanus/Diphtheria (Td), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (Tdap), Meningococcal, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A&B, Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR), Rabies, Shingles, Varicella and Polio. WIC SERVICES The Women, Infants & Children Program (WIC) offers families personalized nutrition consultations, vouchers for free healthy food, tips for eating well to improve health, and referrals for medical and dental care, health insurance, child care, and other services that can benefit the whole family. WHEELING-OHIO COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING The Wheeling-Ohio County Board of Health will hold a meeting on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 12noon. The meeting will be held in the City/County Building.
