BELLAIRE - An accident happened early yesterday morning at the intersection of Route 7 and the on-ramp to I-470, near Bellaire.
Two commercial vehicles and one SUV were involved in a collision around 7 a.m., according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The accident is under investigation, but it is believed that a failure of brakes in one of the commercial vehicles may be to blame. One man was transported by Neffs EMS to Medical Park (of Wheeling Hospital), with what were reported to be minor injuries.

A CLEAN-UP crew from Bill’s Towing works to clear the road after an accident involving two semi-trucks and one SUV.
Keith Gast, of Neffs Fire Department, reported that some fluid was leaked onto the road, likely anti-freeze or hydraulic fluid. However, it was minimal and not hazardous.
"All was contained," Gast said.
The roadway was temporarily closed and OSHP Trooper Dustin Payne was on scene directing traffic until approximately 10:30 a.m., when a heavy-duty recovery emergency response team from Bill's Towing finished cleaning up the road.
Also handling the accident was Trooper Tyler Byrd.
