INDIVIDUALS WHO had been members of the First United Methodist Church, Martins Ferry, for a half century were honored in 1990. The 50-year members are standing in front of the choir, and among those honored were Adeline McKendry Wilson, Margaret Grayson, Ruth Bell, Pauline Roberts, Elsie Daubenmyer Samuels, Mary Louise Rassau, Bill Rassau, Don Cunningham, Howard Grayson, Peg Daubenmyer, Blanche Glavaris, Olive Selby, Frank Burson, Marian Carpino, Elsie Duncan and Wilbur Heslop Jr. The Rev. Keith Peachy, shown on the first row, at right, was the church's minister at that time. The church's 200th anniversary will be celebrated this year with "an old-fashioned camp meeting" planned Sept. 20 from noon to 4 p.m. at City Park, and a church service and a dinner will be held Sept. 21.
