AN ORIGINAL acrylic painting of the iconic Bellaire Viaduct is the prize in a fundraiser being conducted by PACE (Parents for Autism Community Education). St. Clairsville artist Dave Bartsch was asked to create the piece at the request of his brother, John, who is a member of the PACE board and has both a grandson and a granddaughter with autism. Shown with the painting is the artist, right, and Dennis Delbert, PACE founding board member. Tickets for a chance to win this painting are available at The Runner’s Connection in Bellaire, where the painting is on display, and at the Awesome Autism 5K Race that will be held Saturday, August 30 in Bellaire. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit PACE, a non-profit organization committed to raising autism awareness and understanding by providing autism education and resources to the local community. For more information, please call (740) 671-1982.
