Norma Spong, 88, of Rayland, died Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH.
She was born April 29, 1926 in Dun Glenn, OH, to the late Martino and Clara Signorini Dolfi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Shannon; two brothers, Roveri and Ralph Dolfi; four sisters, Julie Gerlach, Mary Taylor, Eva Hill and Louise Markham.
She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, member of the Catholic daughters and Catholic ladies auxiliary club. She enjoyed walking, cooking, fishing, golfing and loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Donto Spong; her son, David (Cyndi) Spong of Yorkville; four grandchildren, Adam, Garrett, Matthew and Lauren; two great-grand children, Daiton and Brody; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Norma and celebrate her life on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville.
Funeral will be held Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home in Tiltonsville with Msgr. Gene Mullett officiating.
Entombment at Holly Memorial Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove.
