Athlete of the Week Honor Roll



TERYN JARRETT: He passed for 268 yards and two touchdowns on 19 of 37.

GAGE STEELE: Caught six passes for 11 yards and a touchdown; blocked an extra point; had three tackles (2 solo) and punted five times for 32.6 yards a kick.

DALTON SECREST: Charted seven tackles, including a quarterback sack, one behind the line of scrimmage and four solo stops. Also, graded out at 95 percent on the offensive line.

KYLE GROVES: Recorded eight tackles, one of which was a quarterback sack. He had three solo tackles and graded out at 90 percent on the offensive side of the ball.


NICK MAFFE: Ran for 80 yards on five carries, 61 of which came on a touchdown run. defensively, he had eight solo tackles, one which came behind the line of scrimmage.


TYLER NEALEY: Ran the ball 15 times for 102 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, he recorded a dozen tackles, eight of which solo stops. He had four tackles for minus yardage, caused two fumbles and intercepted a pass that he ran back for six points.


MAURTICE HYTHON: Collected a season-high 330 yards on 35 carries and scored four touchdowns.


ERIC FLOWERS: Ran the ball 11 times for 71 yards and a two-point conversion. He also completed 12 of 18 passes for 152 yards and a TD.

CODY SCHAU: Landed six catches for 95 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, had intercepted a pass and charted four atckles.

BRANDON LAUGHMAN: Lugged the leather eight times for 51 yards and a pair of six-pointers.

BRUCE BURGER: Carried the ball just two times, but one ended up in the end zone. On defense, he was all over the state sheet with six tackles, a pair of quarterback sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

DAMON OUTWARD: Picked off a pair of passes and made four tackles.


LEVI BROWN: Had an 87-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.


NICK ASTURI: Had a rushing touchdown among his 14 carries and 52 yards. On defense, he recorded six tackles, five assists and had a tackle for minus yardage.

JONATHAN STEWART: Charted eight solo tackles, assisted on five and had four behind the line of scrimmage.

KAMERON BROWN: Caught five passes for 106 yards on offense. Defensively, he was in on six solo stops, assisted on four others, charted a tackle for minus yards, intercepted a pass and batted three others away.

JD DOTSON: Recorded six solo tackles, four assists, two tackles behind the line and a quarterback sack.

BRYCE CROSS: Made five solo tackles, assisted on three others, with one coming behind the line.


JAYLON BROWN: Ran for 224 yards and five touchdowns on a mere 19 carries. Also caught three passes for 100 yards and a sixth TD.

MATT KINNICK: Passed for 233 yards and a pair of six-pointers on 11 of 19 accuracy.

DAN MONTEROSO: Caught six passes for 80 yards and ran the ball three times for 19.

TOM PARKER: Graded out at 94.2 percent from his right tackle spot.

HAYLEE SKUKAN: Was 3-for-3 on PAT kicks and selected the odd-colored rose at halftime to win the Homecoming Queen Contest. In addition, she recorded an assist for the girls’ soccer team in the OVAC Cup quarterfinal upset of Wheeling Central.


DARIO PAOLINA: Caught two passes for 86 yards, including an 80-yard TD. Made 10 tackles on defense and broke up a pass. Also kicked all four PATs.


ERIC DUNFEE: Carried the ball seven times for 29 yards and a touchdown. Also caught three passes for 31 yards. On special teams, he collected 212 yards in kickoff returns that included a 72-yard return for six points. He also booted a 25-yard field goal and picked off a pass.

KALEB MCDIFFITT: Caught two passes for 83 yards and a TD.

MASON FRIEDE: Charted 10 solo tackles, assisted on three others and caused a fumble. Three of his tackles were behind the line of scrimmage.



Ashleigh Moulder: In two matches she recorded eight points, five digs, six blocks and 14 kills.

Alexis St. Clair: Charted 14 points, 14 digs, 100% serve receive, 11 kills and three assists.


Shaina Oberdick: In four matches, she had seven aces, 25 points, two assists, 41 kills and seven blocks.

Shaye DeLeonardis: Had seven aces, 20 points, 24 assists, five kills, seven blocks and 15 digs.

Cassie Hanson: Recorded eight aces, 22 points, 28 assists, eight kills and 17 digs.
