Buckeye Local gets by Bellaire in four games

Buckeye Local’s Lady Panthers were four-game Monday night winners against Bellaire. The Panthers prevailed by counts of 26-24, 23-25, 25-22, 25-9.

Stat leaders for the Lady Panthers included: Becca Rector (15 points, 12 kills, 18 assists, 10 digs); Kayla Fillipovich (10 points, 18 kills); Amy Balk (12 points, seven kills, 18 digs); Morgan Staten (seven points, nine kills, 20 digs); Morgan Fedorko (seven points, three kills); Kierstyn Czuchran (four kills); Kaylee Decesare (38 digs).

Bellaire leaders included: Tori Duffy (18 points, 10 digs, nine assists); Mackenzie Conroy (16 points, 11 digs, four kills); Lindsey McMahon (15 points, 12 assists); Hunter Eden (eight kills, 13 digs); Taylar Canter (21 digs); Elisha Gillespie (13 points, five kills); Cari Crozier (four kills); Aubrey Ryan (four kills).

East Richland Christian sweeps Cameron

East Richland Christian registered a three-game Monday night sweep of Cameron, winning by scores of 25-18, 25-9, 25-12.

The victorious Lady Lions were led by Alyssa Crowley (nine digs, eight kills, five aces); Hannah Stephens (20 sets, nine digs); Susanna Yourko (21 sets); Katie Albert (eight digs, eight aces, four kills); Hannah Surface (15 digs); Alexis Dodd (two digs); Brooke Hamm (12 digs, four kills); Rebekah Mitchell (four digs).

Trail spikers upend Shadyside

Buckeye Trail swept past Shadyside by scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-3 in Monday night action.

The Lady Warriors’ Josie Hensley hammered 12 kills. Lynsey Beros charted 21 points, 14 aces and 18 assists. Meghann Winters contributed 12 points and three kills.

Shadyside’s Karli Bonar registered five points, five digs and two aces. Kenzie Fielding slammed seven kills and added seven blocks.
