OVAC seeking 1961 and 1962 grid stars

The Ohio Valley Athletic Conference is seeking addresses still for several all-stars from the 1961 and 1962 football all-star teams. Those team members will be recognized this summer at the annual Rudy Mumley OVAC All-Star Charity Football Classic.

The 1961 Ohio players being sought include: Fred DiDonato, Steubenville Catholic Central; Mike Geon, East Liverpool; Jim Hartzell, Jefferson Union; Paul Kenny, Steubenville Catholic; Dick Marinacci and Lynn McCutcheon, Brilliant.

The West Virginia players from 1961 are: Ron Berletch, Union; Mike Ciccolella, Follansbee St. Anthony; Kent Heckner, Bishop Donahue; Kent Householder, Follansbee; Jon Julio, Follansbee St. Anthony; Roger Moore, Carl Schellhase, Wheeling Central and Lou Vidoni, Warwood.

The 1962 Ohio players, and coaches, being sought include: Dale Barnes, St. Clairsville; Roy Castner, Wintersville; Tom Dye, Steubenville Catholic; Bob Howard, Martins Ferry; Joe Kniszek, Dillonvale; Curt Rose, Stanton; Chuck Waligura, Wayne; Coach Andy Urbanik, Dillonvale/Triadelphia.

The West Virginia players from 1962 that are still needed to be located include: Scott Barber, Parkersburg; Jerry Braun, Wellsburg; Reggie Cooper, Paden City; Joe Dragovich, Follansbee; Chuck Grandstaff, Magnolia; Charles Kufner, Parkersburg; Enzo Martino, Follansbee St. Anthony; Gary Nardo, New Cumberland; Ronald Romanosky, Wellsburg and Richard Wisher, Follansbee.
