Shamrocks roll past Panthers

BARNESVILLE — The homestanding Shamrocks had their way with visiting Buckeye Local Thursday night in high school volleyball action, winning by scores of 25-17, 25-15, 19-25 and 25-18.

Paige Huntsman tallied a match-high 15 points for the winners. She also handed out 23 assists, charted seven digs, rifled four kills and served three aces. Sydney Ralston chipped in 14 points, 10 kills and four digs. Paige Wright added nine markers and 11 digs. Layna Broomhall contributed seven points, 14 assists, five digs and a pair of kills. Shasta Roberts had six points, half-a-dozen digs and three kills. Miranda Plumly finished with four points, 15 kills and eight digs.

The Panthers were paced by Presile Renforth with three aces, 10 digs and nine kills. Morgan Fedorko added two aces and four kills. Lexus Fedorko had 13 assists and two digs. Kierstyn Czuchran finished with seven kills, while Becky Zeroski charted seven digs.Morgan Staten had 11 digs and nine kills. Nicolette Devore had nine assists.
