St. C.-Cambridge split

CAMBRIDGE– St. Clairsville divided a doubleheader with Cambridge Tuesday night at Don Coss Field.

The hosts (6-9) won the opener 14-0 before Post 159 earned the split with a 7-2 nod in the nightcap.

Michael Jacob scattered five hits in St. Clairsville’s victory. He fanned five and walked three, while also driving in a run.

Eric Banal had three hits, while Cody Goletz singled and doubled. Tyler Ramsay doubled in two runs. Dillon Curtin and Parker Dyson had run-scoring base hits.
