WOODSFIELD — Kalista Friday flirted with a triple-double by scoring 12 points, handing out eight assists and grabbing six rebounds to power Monroe Central past Clay-Battelle, 64-29, in OVAC girls’ basketball consolation bracket action Thursday night.

Alle Zwick and Amy Bettinger each also scored 12 for the Seminoles, who jumped to a 38-21 halftime lead. Sydney Yoho added 11 points for the winners. Bettinger completed a double-double with 10 rebounds.

BELLAIRE — Kaylin Nixon continued her solid season and led the Irish to victory over the visiting Hornets with a game-high 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Shay Horvath accounted for 15 points to help while Jayden Lowe added nine points and 11 rebounds.

NEW MARTINSVILLE — Allison Loase sparked a Jets triumph over the host Blue Eagles with a team-high 19 points.

Hannah Porter supplied 12 and Sutherlynd Butler accumulated 10 for the Jets.

RICHMOND–Jaren Tucker’s 17 points and Meleah Tiber’s 13 points helped push the visiting Bulldogs past the Wildcats.

WETZEL–Jenna Dallison bucketed 19 points to give the Lumberjills the upper hand over the visiting Shamrocks.

Rylee Stephens garnered a game-high 28 points for Barnesville. She was followed by Sydney Leach with 15 and Annie Carpenter’s 10.

WELLSBURG — The homestanding Bruins went on a 15-0 run to end the game and held the Huskies scoreless in the fourth quarter en route to victory.
