Man whose wife's body found in garage charged with murder

RAVENNA, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio man whose wife’s body was found in the garage of their home has been charged with murder.
The Kent-Ravenna Record-Courier reports that Brimfield police say the wife died from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police say they found Lacie Cunningham’s body on Thursday when the Portage County Sheriff’s Office asked them to check on her. Police said they were told Cunningham’s husband had gone to the sheriff’s office that day and made statements to staff that caused concern for her welfare.
Portage County Municipal Court records show 31-year-old Erik Cunningham has been charged with one count of murder. His bond was set Friday at $1 million.
A message seeking comment on behalf of Cunningham was left Sunday at his attorney’s office.
