Locals are able to learn at Senecaville farm succession workshop

SENECAVILLE — An “Essentials of Farm Succession Planning” workshop, sponsored by Belmont, Guernsey, Monroe, and Noble County Farm Bureaus, was recently held at Mid-East Career Center,

Senecaville.

The goal of the seminar was to help members gain the tools necessary to create a plan for the succession of the family farm and heritage.

Speakers and partners for the event included John Dubois, financial advisor; Lee Heron, agribusiness analyst with Farm Credit Mid-America; Ryan Conklin, Wright and Moore Law; Nationwide Insurance, and Ohio Farm Bureau.
