Car Show is July 11 in Bethesda

BETHESDA — The Bethesda-Belmont-Morristown Rotary Club in conjunction with the Epworth Park Chautauqua Homecoming Days and Bethesda Festival is sponsoring the Bethesda Car Show on Sunday, July 11, at Epworth Park, at the corner of Lake and Virginia Streets, Bethesda, Ohio.

Registration is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The show time is from noon to 4 p.m.The registration fee is $8.

Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 100 cars registered. It is an open event, and a trophy will be awarded for each decade from 1910-2021, also, for Best: Convertible, Truck, Rat Rod, Import, Motorcycle,Special Interestand President’s Choice.

Judging is by nonprofessionals. Music from the 1950s and 1960s will be provided by DJ Frank Prebeg.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, Rotary Club Auction and door prizes. Food and soft drinks will be available.

Organizers are not responsible for loss or damage.

There is a playground for the youth to enjoy. And people can visit the Chautauqua Days Festival on the east side of the park. Plan to visit and enjoy all the many vehicles at this historic setting among the giant oaks, reminisce to the music and recall the memories of your youth.

Organizers say it’s an experience you will not want to miss.

Directions: Take Interstate 70 to Exit 208 onto Ohio 149 then right onto Ohio 147 to Bethesda at the four-way stop-follow the signs to Virginia Street. For more information, call 740 582-1888.
