Lisa and Bill Britton of Flushing announce the engagement of their daughter, Renee Britton, to Shawn Eddy. Shawn is the son of Dan (Debbie) Eddy of Elm Grove and Vicki (Mark) Allen of Lore City.

Shawn is a 2002 graduate of Barnesville High School and a 2007 graduate of Ohio University. Shawn is employed as a dairy frozen clerk at Riesbeck’s Food Markets.

Renee is a 2009 graduate of Union Local High School and 2012 graduate of Ohio University. Renee is employed as a preschool teacher at Union Local and a cake decorator for Riesbeck’s Food Markets. A May 21 wedding is planned.
