A Special Wish Foundation names Freeman executive director

ST. CLAIRSVILLE – The Ohio Valley Chapter of A Special Wish Foundation named Alicia Freeman its executive director.

“We are excited to have an executive director for A Special Wish Upper Ohio Valley Chapter,” said Denise Penz, chairwoman of the board for the chapter. “With Alicia’s background and community involvement, she is a great fit for this role. This also gives us a great opportunity to be a good partner in the communities we serve and build on the foundation that Dr. John Mattox set when he brought the program to the Ohio Valley over 30 years ago.”

Freeman has been involved with the St. Clairsville area and surrounding communities for more than 10 years.

She previously was the marketing director for Premier Bank & Trust and in her most recent position was an account executive for Wheelhouse Creative.

“Every position I’ve held has been a great opportunity. I’m blessed to have had those opportunities because they prepared me to take on a position like this. I believe in following God and know that this is what I’m met to do,” Freeman said.
