Public invited to weigh in on the future of transportation in Ohio

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Transportation is encouraging Ohioans to be a part of the process to shape the future of transportation in the state.

ODOT is accepting public comments on the Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan for 2018 to 2021. The plan identifies the multi-modal transportation improvement projects that are scheduled for some phase of implementation throughout the state over the next four years.

The draft documents will be available for public review and comment at 35 locations statewide from March 27 through April 7 during normal business hours. These locations consist of the Planning and Engineering Administrator’s office in each of the 12 ODOT District headquarters, the ODOT Central Office Division of Planning in Columbus, Ohio, each of the 17 Ohio Metropolitan Planning Organization offices, and each of the five Regional Transportation Planning Offices.
