WHEELING — Elmhurst, The House of Friendship’s inaugural summer fundraiser, Shrimp Boil on the Lawn, is slated to take place Saturday, July 29, and offer an opportunity to not only enjoy an authentic Louisiana-style shrimp boil, but also chances to win prizes.

The first prize is two floor seat tickets to Lady Gaga’s World Tour concert in Pittsburgh on Nov. 20 that have been donated by Laura Bissett-Mull, State Farm Insurance in Wheeling.

The second raffle features an Oglebay Birdie Golf weekday package with overnight accommodations at Wilson Lodge with breakfast for two and indoor pool and fitness center, including one 18-hole round on the Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed course with GPS cart, one 18-hold round on the Arnold Palmer designed Klieves course and GPS car, a Crispin Course based on availability, and Par 3 course.

Also on the second raffle is a one-night stay at Grand Vue Park in Moundsville in a one-bedroom Treetop Villa Cabin and two all-day activity passes.

Elmhurst is a 127-year old non-profit senior assisted living residence is located on National Road in Wheeling’s Pleasant Valley section.
