ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Police arrested Michael Goski, 28, of 216 Young Lane, St. Clairsville on Thursday on charges of theft and criminal damaging.

The arrest was the result of an investigation into numerous cars which were entered with items stolen during the past several days. Goski was transported to the Belmont County Jail.

The police remind residents to lock their vehicles to avoid easy access and not to leave personal items in plain view.
