Pumpkin Festival Queen

A new queen, princess and mini miss were selected at a pageant held at Barnesville High School on Sunday to reign over the 54th annual Pumpkin Festival, which officially gets gets underway Thursday. The new queen is Alana Trigg, left, the 14-year-old daughter of Tonya and Robbie Trigg and a ninth-grader at Barnesville High School. Princess Kiara Triplett, center, is a sixth-grader at Union Local Middle School. She is the daughter of Chris and Becky Triplett of Flushing. The new mini miss is 9-year-old Ella Nugent, a fourth-grader in Barnesville. Her parents are Melissa and Andrew Nugent. The King Pumpkin Weigh-In takes place in the downtown this evening.
