“Last year’s event was a huge success. We had a diverse group of people join us, men and women, and experienced and novice shooters, teens and older adults,” said Dr. David Hilliard, foundation board member. “Everyone was supportive, and everyone had a great time. I encourage others to join us for a fun event.”

Awards will be given for the top male, top female and for the top novice and experienced shooter for the Trap Shoot and Steel Challenge. The Shooting Sports 4-H Club will assist to coordinate the event.

“This event would not be possible without the support of Doug and Elaine Schafer and the Shooting Sports 4-H Club for organizing a safe and fun event,” said David Phillips, CEO, Barnesville Hospital. “We also want to thank the Bethesda Sportsman’s Club for allowing us to use their beautiful facility and for making everyone feel welcome.”

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, as the number of participants will be limited. Area businesses or individuals can also be event sponsors for $100, $500 or $1,000. All proceeds from this event will benefit Barnesville Hospital.
