COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jennifer Gildow has been named a Land Grant opportunity Scholarship recipient.

Gildow, a resident of Buckeye Lake and member of the incoming Ohio State University Class of 2022, attended Buckeye Local School District. Her father, Greg Gildow, lives in Bridgeport, along with several other family members.

The Land Grant Opportunity Scholarship is part of a financial aid package that meets a student’s full cost of college attendance for up to eight semesters. It started in 2005 with the goal of selecting at least one student from each of Ohio’s 88 counties. Recipients are selected based on financial need and academic ability.

Jennifer is the daughter of Greg Gildow and Ginger Spears.
