A TRACTOR-trailer hauling flour to Nickles Bakery failed to make a turn Thursday morning from Aetna to Broadway streets in Martins Ferry. The truck struck a utility pole. The tractor-trailer was registered to WWW Transport and had an Iowa license plate. Traffic was backed up for some time while the vehicle was moved from the scene. The driver was cited, according to the Martins Ferry Police Department. No injuries were reported.
