ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Belco Works Inc., a private nonprofit organization, intends to submit a proposal for a capital grant under the provision of 49 USC Section 5310 of the Federal Transit Act to provide transportation service for the elderly and disabled within Belmont County and surrounding areas.

The grant proposal will request a modified minivan.

It is projected that 25 people will use the service two to five days per week, up to 52 weeks per year, for various activities including transportation to and from jobs and employment support services.

Belco Works Inc. invites comments and proposals from all interested public, private and paratransit operators including taxi operators regarding the proposed project.
