Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague, second from left, presents Ohio University Eastern Campus faculty members with a Compass Award recently at the campus in East Richland. The award recognizes the university’s exemplary efforts around financial literacy and empowerment. Sprague met with university financial aid, academic advising and career coaching staff members. The Compass Award program was launched by the treasurer’s office earlier this year to recognize organizations, programs and individuals across the state who are working to guide Ohians toward financial literacy and empowerment. Ohio University Eastern was among three honorees to receive Compass Awards in the month of October.
