Martins Ferry police Chief John McFarland said officers executed a search warrant at 803 Grant Ave. that led to the arrests.

“The warrant was based on a drug investigation that the officers have been conducting. As a result of the search, officers located drugs, drug paraphernalia and a stolen handgun,” he said.

Drugs allegedly found in the house included cocaine, heroin, crack cocaine and prescription medications. No one was injured during the arrests, and three people were taken to the Belmont County Jail, McFarland said.

The people arrested and the charges against them include:

– Morgan R. Mann, 29, possession of Schedule III drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Her bonds total $2,050; and

– Jahod R. Joyce, 25, possession of drugs, having weapons under disability (as a prohibited person) and receiving stolen property. His bonds total $12,500.
