SHADYSIDE — A Shadyside police officer and his girlfriend both were arrested for alleged domestic violence.

According to the Belmont County Jail website, Dan Napolitano was arrested by Bellaire police and is being held without bail.

Napolitano, 49, has been an officer with the Shadyside Police Department for many years. Shadyside Police Chief Don Collette could not be reached Thursday evening for comment regarding Napolitano’s arrest.

According to published reports, Napolitano’s girlfriend, Tiffany Clark, 27, also was arrested and charged with domestic violence. According to the jail website, Clark also is being held without bond.
