At 12:48 a.m. Sunday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Mall Road near Red Roof Lane issued a warning to a motorist driving with no headlights.

At 4:13 a.m. Saturday, officers received a report of domestic trouble at an address on Commercial Avenue, Bridgeport. A male reportedly had a scratch on his cheek after what was listed as a verbal argument, and neither party wished to file charges, according to the report.

At 10:12 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a complaint about a car parked in the turn around on Little Captina Road, Powhatan Point, for over an hour. An emergency medical squad was requested for a female for a possible overdose, according to the report. Officials in the squad said the female looked OK and refused transport. However, she was arrested on an active warrant out of Belmont County.

At 4:44 p.m. Saturday, a caller from Hope Lane, Bridgeport, issued a report of threats from a neighbor. A property manager was advised of the situation, and the deputy told the complainant to avoid all dealings with her.

At 1:43 p.m. Saturday, an officer responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident with no injuries and minimal damage near Riesbeck’s on National Road in Bridgeport.

At 9:10 a.m. Saturday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 northbound issued a warning to a motorist driving with no visible license plate.

At 5:50 a.m. Saturday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 eastbound near the exit 213 off ramp in St. Clairsville issued a headlight warning to a West Virginia motorist.

At 12:40 a.m. Saturday, an officer responded to an address on National Road, St. Clairsville, for a welfare check. The officer advised everything was OK.

At 11:33 p.m. Friday, a deputy responded to an address on Indian Run Road, Bellaire, for a report of a suspicious person. The officer advised the property owner there was having a campfire.

At 11:30 p.m. Friday, a caller reported they left their debit card at a local restaurant, and the manager advised them to come back tomorrow to retrieve it after they opened. The caller asked if there was anything that could be done to expedite it. Officers advised there was no action the sheriff’s office could take, according to the report.
