At 10:19 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop on Barnesville-Bethesda Road in Bethesda reported that a license plate was not found in the system. A warning was issued for driving with no headlights.

At 9:52 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop in Powhatan Point detained one male. Narcotics were found after consent was granted to search, and charges were pending. The male was released for having an obstructed license plate.

At 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy was out on Interstate 70 east at exit 224 in Bridgeport with a disabled ambulance. The left rear tire fell off, according to the report. Bill’s towing was called to take the vehicle, and the deputy gave medics a ride to the casino, the report stated.

At 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 north of Powhatan Point issued a warning to a West Virginia motorist for driving outside of marked lanes and for driving left of center.

At 8:38 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop near Dilles Bottom in Meade Township issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for driving with expired tags.

At 7:52 p.m. Tuesday, an officer and police from Shadyside responded to a 911 call at a residence in Shadyside where a juvenile was home alone, saw the front door wide open and locked herself in the bathroom. The teen called her mother, and the mother called 911. The juvenile said she heard something fall downstairs. The 911 dispatcher got the juvenile on the line, and officers secured the residence. Officials said they believe the wind blew the door open. An adult came to stay with the juvenile.

At 7:31 p.m. Tuesday, deputies attempted to serve a misdemeanor warrant at an address on Sunset Heights in Bridgeport. One male was taken to jail. The male was experiencing chest pains and was taken to Trinity Medical Center in St. Clairsville.

At 7:13 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 north just past the Shadyside exit issued a warning to a Pennsylvania driver with a suspended license. The individual waited there for a valid driver.

At 6:12 p.m. Tuesday, a sergeant on a traffic stop on Bayberry Drive in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for an improper lane change.

At 6 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an address in Lansing Gardens in Bridgeport for a report of a 17-year-old male fighting with his mother. Officers said the juvenile got new meds that were not working, and he was acting up.

At 4:33 p.m. Tuesday, a caller requested a welfare check on her mother at an address on Old Cadiz Road in Bridgeport. Deputies made contact with the female, and all was ok, the officers indicated.

At 3:57 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a report of domestic trouble at an address on Carter Road in Barnesville. A caller stated that his niece assaulted him. She was reportedly walking down the road. The officers did not locate anyone, according to the report.

At 2:01 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an address on Sunset Heights in Bridgeport to help with traffic control in the area of a structure fire.

At 12:48 p.m. Tuesday, units responded to an address in St. Clairsville for a report of a DOA.

At 10:52 a.m. Tuesday, a deputy on a traffic stop on U.S. 40 near Plaza West in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for a stop sign violation.

At 6:19 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a report of domestic trouble at an address in Powhatan Point. A caller stated that her boyfriend hit her repeatedly and took off with their 6-month-old child. Officers located the male and took him to jail. Dustin Aron Davis Jr. was booked on one count of domestic violence.

At 2:33 a.m. Tuesday, deputies assisted units from the Martins Ferry Police department with a structure fire at an address on Pearl Street in Martins Ferry.

At 12:09 a.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to an address on Muskrat Road in Barnesville for a report of a female with a history of mental health issues having hallucinations. The female was pink slipped and was taken to the hospital by a deputy, according to the report.
