Pedestrian struck by vehicle in ferry
MARTINS FERRY — Police Chief John McFarland confirmed that a man was hospitalized Wednesday evening after being struck by a vehicle.
The incident occurred at the corner of Fourth and Hanover streets, outside the Subway restaurant.
McFarland said the male pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
The female driver was not injured, but she did receive a citation as a result of the collision.
McFarland did not release the names of those involved or any additional details on Wednesday.
