A HELICOPTER helps to install a 138-kilovolt transmission project being conducted by American Electric Power in the Belmont-Bethesda area on Tuesday afternoon. According to AEP spokesman Scott Fuller, the work includes removing outdated steel towers and replacing them with new steel poles and a larger conductor. He noted the work began about 9:30 a.m. and was expected to end about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
