BELMONT — Early evening storms blew through the area Thursday, bringing down more trees and limbs and knocking out more power.

Belmont County Emergency Management Director Dave Ivan said via text that his office received reports of minor damages and sporadic power outages. American Electric Power’s online outage map showed clusters of customers around the region who were without electricity. Perhaps the largest outage was in the Bannock area, where more than 1,400 customers were affected.
