DONALD LAIPPLE

He was born in Bridgeport on March 7, 1936, a son of the late Robert A. and Anna Gross Laipple.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Tommy Laipple in 1991.

Donald was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, a Lutheran by faith and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and West Liberty State College. Dutch enjoyed going to Sonny Boy Restaurant in the morning and drinking coffee with his buddies.

Don, who was a great dad, is survived by his children, son: “PJ” Parker James (Becky) Laipple of Richmond, VA, daughters: Ann (Jeff) Davis of Elizabethtown, KY, Jennifer (Justin) Redinger of Mt. Pleasant, OH, brother: Robert “Butch” (Margaret) Laipple of St. Clairsville, OH, grandchildren: Tommy Davis, Mattie Rose Davis, Will Laipple, Jake Laipple, Colton Redinger, Mason Redinger, mother of his children: Rose Glenn Laipple, good friend: Nancy Kadar and cousins, Billy and Jimmy Pearsol.

Friends will be received Friday 5-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH, where services will be held Saturday July 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Justin Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
