FRANCIS LANCH

Francis D. “Frank” Lanch, 94, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, July 24, 2017 at Forest Hills Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio.

He was born May 19, 1923 in Benwood, WV, a son of the late Vincent and Mary (Patrone) Lancia.

He was retired from B&O Railroad, a member of the Meadowbrook Church of God, and Veteran of WWII in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Lanch; brothers, John, Lawrence, Arthur, and Thomas Lancia; a sister, Louise Bryant.

Frank is survived by a son, David (Debbie) Lanch of Zanesville; and a daughter, Tina Papp of New Philadelphia; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Private service and interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, assisting the family.
