JOHN JENDRUSIK

John Jendrusik, 90, of Wolfhurst, Ohio, passed Sunday after a long illness. John was an avid outdoorsman who fished and hunted the eastern half of North America in his youth.

He was an accomplished mechanic for both heavy trucks and even kept the train running at the Good Zoo before retiring. He loved his dogs and telling stories about his exploits across the country on his Indian Motorcycle.

John is remembered fondly by family and close friends, Phil and Karel Murad, who were a great support in his final years. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Trudy Craig, Robert Bowman, and Todd Bowman.

Uncle John always did things his way. He would prefer that you remember him by turning off the “boob tube” to travel to the lake and cast your line and, perhaps, a thought in his direction. He goes to join his beloved sister and parents in the world beyond.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday July 20, 2017 at 9 a.m. at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

The family is being assisted by Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio.
