JAMES KLEE

James Warren Klee, 82, of Shadyside, Ohio, died Monday, November 6, 2017 at Marietta Center, Marietta, Ohio.

He was born September 5, 1935 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late James Brown Klee and Elizabeth Alexander Crow.

Jim was a retired employee of the former Blaw-Knox Foundry, a Protestant by faith and a member of Bellaire American Legion Post No. 52, VFW Post No. 626, Sons of Italy, Elks and a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Sargent.

Surviving are three daughters, Cheryl (Tony) Cowser of Palm Springs, Fla., Peggy Klee of Boca Raton, Fla. and Jamie (Moon) Munjas of Waterford, Ohio; a son-in-law, Ashley Sargent of Wheeling, W.Va.; a brother, Dr. Samuel (Judy) Crow of Tipp City, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Thomas Zdunczyk, Justin Zdunczyk, Kara Cowser, Cameron Cowser, Michelle Brown, Taylor Sargent, Abbey Sargent, Harley Munjas, Hunter Munjas; six great-grandchildren; a traveling buddy and close friend, Paul Gebhardt.

Friends will be received on Saturday from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, OH, with the Rev. James Hoff officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Council of American Legions on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
