LEONARD VAN DYNE

Leonard Alexander Van Dyne, 86, of Alledonia, Ohio, died Sunday, April 15, 2018, at his home.

He was born September 17, 1931 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Leonard Eugene Van Dyne and Mildred Heath Van Dyne.

Leonard was a 1949 graduate of Linsly High School, a chemical engineer, former owner- operator of VeeCorp in Milan, IN, a U.S. Army Chemical Corps veteran, member of Concord Presbyterian Church in Centerville, Moriah Lodge F& AM in Powhatan Point, Osiris Temple of the Shrine, and Scottish Rite.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Lee Clower Van Dyne.

Surviving are two children, Bonnie L. Kolenc of Jacobsburg and Mark A. (Denise) Van Dyne of Lima, OH; a brother, Jay H. (Diane) Van Dyne of Snellville, GA; four grandchildren, Jenna L. (Nikolas) Daulton, Ethan Kolenc, Danielle Van Dyne, and Lauren Van Dyne.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. with Pastor Karen Byrne officiating.

Belmont County Veterans Association will conduct military honors at 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

A private committal will be held at the convenience of the family in Powhatan Cemetery
