RONALD MALIN

Ronald Gray Malin, 79, of Adena, OH, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2018.

Ron was born on July 28, 1939, in Dillonvale, OH, to the late Arthur & Thelma Malin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Becky Malin Woodcock.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Nancy Malin; son Brian (Sharon) of St. Clairsville and grandchildren Merrik, Madigan, Macy, Megan, and Mavrik Malin; and a sister, Elizabeth.

Ron was a loving and devoted husband and father who always put his family first. When he was not volunteering his time helping people in the community, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He was a member of the Adena Lions Club for 43 years, worked at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel for 39 years, Smithfield Township Trustee for 32 years, served on city council, dedicated member of St. Casimirs Church, member of Pine Valley Sportsman’s Club for over 70 years, and member of Short Creek Sportsman’s Club since established.

Ron’s memory will always be cherished.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Ron’s life will be held Sunday, December 16, from 2-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena, OH, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. with Monsignor John Kolesar.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at noon, from St. Casimirs Catholic Church with Monsignor John Kolesar.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. casimirs Catholic Church.
