FRANKLIN CONAWAY

He was born February 18, 1929, a son of the late Frank and Martha (Blake) Conaway.

Frank was a retired mechanic for West Virginia-Ohio Motor Sales, was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Korean War, and was a member of Riverview Bible Church.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Benda; a brother, Kenny Conaway; and an infant sister, Juanita Conaway.

Frank is survived by his wife, Frances (Rhodes) Conaway; children, Jerry (Pat) Conaway of Shadyside, Joyce (Tom) Butler of Polk City, FL, Michele Staskey of Neffs; son-in-law, John Benda of Shadyside; siblings, Mildred Oberdick of Bellaire, Jackie Gretzinger of St. Clairsville, Richard (Judy) Conaway of Martins Ferry; grandchildren, Katie, Joshua (Meranda), Breanna, Derrick (Barbara), Michelle, Shelly (Ralph); great-grandchildren, Emma, Allie, Dakota, John, Keshawn, Lamarah, Anayla, Jordyn, Gia, Rocco, and Kalen.

Friends will be received Wednesday, July 31 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Bridgeport, OH 43912, where funeral services will be held Thursday August 1 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Rowland Officiating. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Military honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association at the cemetery.
