PAMELA BRAUGHT

Pamela Maye Banks Braught, 59, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, formerly of Cadiz, Ohio, left this world to be with our Lord on Friday, September 27, 2019 atWheeling Hospital.

She was born July 29, 1960 in Cadiz Ohio, the 19th child of the late Edward Henry Banks, Sr. and Ora Pauline Cooper Banks.

Pamela was a member and Deacon of the Pilgrim Rest Church in Bellaire, Ohio.

She loved to sing Gospel Music and was well known throughout the valley for her secular music as well. She was a proud graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Rutledge, Jr.; brothers, Peter, David, Timothy, John, and Phillip Banks; sisters, Jeanette Burgins, Mary Wilkinson, Ora Christian, Edwina Crooms, and Mildred Brooks.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Braught; daughters, Roberta Sutton of Steubenville, Ohio and Bekah (Aileen) Webster of Mesa, Arizona; granddaughters, Ariel Sutton and Aria Webster; brothers, Edward (Mary) Banks, Mike (Renee) Banks, Gene (Penny) Banks, Paul (Paula) Banks, all of Cadiz and Conrad (Joyce) Banks of Steubenville; sisters, Loraine “Hope” (Monty) Wheeler of Orange Park, Florida, Regina Williams of Cadiz and twin sister Tamara Banks of Wintersville.

A memorial service will be held at the First Church of Christ in Cadiz, Ohio on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at noon with Rev. Robert Ellsworth officiating.
