ROBERT MATTERKOSKI

Bob was born July 2, 1948, in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Robert J. and June Peddicord Materkoski Sr.

He retired from the former NACCO #3 MIne and Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Martins Ferry Plant. He was a Catholic by Faith. Preceding him in death was a sister, Rose Bosold.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years Sandra S. Gallagher Materkoski, a son, Rob (Cathy) Materkoski III of St. Clairsville, OH, a daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Paul of Columbus, Ohio, two granddaughters, Nicole Materkoski and Natasha (L.J.) Zavacky all of St. Clairsville, Ohio, his siblings, Donna Chieffalo of Hudson, FL, Kathleen Crum of Wheeling, WV, Ron (Jackie) Materkoski, Keith (Tara) Materkoski, Rich (Terri) Materkoski, Gary (Sue) Materkoski and Mike (Kim) Materkoski all of Bellaire, Ohio, many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Bauknecht – Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday with Fr. Paul Cabrita officiating.

Final arrangements will be at the convenience of the family.
