WILLIAM ALLTOP

He was born August 9, 1943 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Russell E. Alltop Sr. and Opal M. (Groves) Alltop.

Bill was the retired owner/operator of Alltop Moving & Storage, and a lifelong member of Improved Order of Redmen Waneta Tribe 75, both of Martins Ferry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by brothers, Daniel Alltop and Russell Alltop Jr.; and a sister, Kathy Shultz.

Surviving are his siblings, Thomas (Aldaline) Alltop of Martins Ferry, Sara Alltop of Washington, PA and Linda (Richard) Armstrong of The Villages, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Friday, January 3, 2020 from 11 a.m until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
