ALBINA GIANNANGELI

Albina L (Beanie) Cerviano Giannangeli, 97, formerly of Bellaire, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Beacon House St. Clairsville.

She was born August 17, 1922, in Bellaire. The eldest child of Frank and Helen Bartolomucci Cerviano. A graduate of St. John Central High School. She took off on adventure with her best friend, Ritalaine, to Latkawanna, NY, to become nannies. They completed their courses but the Ohio Valley called them home. On May 19, 1956, she married her best friend and love of her life Dominic (Pickles) Giannangeli son of late Emidio and Teresa Di Nardo Giannangeli. Married for 47 years until Dom’s passing in 2003. She was preceded in death by her loving and wonderful son David on April 6, 2019, and siblings Laura (Urban) Naome, Louis (Zora) Cerviano, Vi (Paul) Sartori, Margaret Cerviano and her sisters-in laws Louise Giannangeli, Lydia Krupnik and JoAnn Harper.

She is survived by her children Mark, Bethel Park, Lisa Gahanna, Mike (Carol) St. Clairsville, and the loves of her life grandchildren Ashley (Nick) Anthony, Abigail, Michael and Bryan. She was looking forward to the birth of her first great-granddaughter. She is survived by her youngest sister Cil (Felix) Melaragno of Columbus along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends meant everything to her as she spent countless hours on the hunt at the dollar store for unique gifts and the perfect card. You knew you could always count on a heartfelt card for any occasion.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 441, 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio, on Friday March 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

A vigil service will be held at 7:45p.m.

Visitation continues from 9 a.m. until time of funeral Mass on Saturday March 14, 2020, at noon at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio, with Fr. Daniel Heusel officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire.
