JOHN KOLENICH III

John Joseph Vincent Kolenich, III, longtime resident of Nefffs and Bellaire, Ohio died Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in the Wheeling Hospital.

He was born March 3, 1940 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late John J. and Margaret T. Dovayak Kolenich, Sr.

John was a retired employee of the International Harvester Corporation and the Lesco Corporation. He was a member of the Neffs Fire Department, life member of the Neffs Rod and Gun Club, Neffs Community Association, Ohio Valley Promenaders, Assistant Scout Master and committee person of Troop 116. John loved square dancing, camping, and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Mark Kolenich.

Surviving are his wife, Beverly Kleyman Kolenich, whom he married February 24, 1962 at the Sacred Heart Church, son, Dr. Vincent J. (Lynne) Kolenich of Bellaire, Ohio and daughter, Jennifer M (Ernest) Blazek of Pickerington, Ohio; sisters, Elizabeth Martinski of Ft. Worth Texas, Jo Anne Karp of LaGrange, Ohio, Karen (George) Titonis of West Wheeling, Ohio, Mary Pauline Jasinski of Shadyside, Ohio and Kathy (Michael) Busack of Bellaire Ohio and brother Michael (Diane) Kolenich of Shadyside, Ohio. Also six grandchildren, Vincent J. Kolenich, II, Zachary Michael Kolenich, Andrew Steven Kolenich, Megan Elizabeth (Chase) Beaumont, Cullen Michael (Kari) Blazek and Mackenzie Marie Blazek, great-granddaughter, Emerson Lauren Beraumont and several niece and nephews.

Private Funeral Mass with Liturgy will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Neffs Ohio with Fr. Daniel Heusel, as Celebrant. Interment in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
